WELCOME:

 

JKS Scotland is currently the largest and most successful Shotokan karate federation in Scotland. We consist of over 120 clubs from across the country with a membership of over 7000 students.

 

Our Scottish HQ are based in Dunfermline and have classes 7 days per week for all ages and levels.

 

We are affiliated to the Japan Karate Shotorenmei with its Headquarters based in Waseda, Tokyo, Japan.

 

We work as a co-operative with JKS affiliated countries worldwide to foster and develop JKS karate within the UK.

 

No other association can offer the opportunities or level of instruction that you will find within JKS Scotland.

 

All of our instructors are qualified to teach karate to children through the Scottish Karate Governing Body (the only governing body for karate in Scotland) and are registered with Disclosure Scotland/PVG and recognised by Sport Scotland.
